At Etiometry, we believe that biomedical device data should not be difficult to obtain. That’s why the new capabilities available as an add-on to our T3 Data Aggregation & Visualization software allow hospitals to easily capture and store high-frequency physiology data such as ECG information.

This advancement allows medical researchers to access high-frequency biomedical device data to gain further insight into different physiological processes. Hospitals can now capture high-resolution physiological data in a live clinical environment to provide biomedical researchers additional insights into the different processes affecting the recovery of ICU patients.

With a high degree of configurability, this exciting new capability can be adapted for use in a wide range of ICU data collection needs. In addition to the other information captured by our T3 Data Aggregation & Visualization software, researchers can now have access to high-fidelity, high-frequency information that is easy to access and analyze.

T3 can feed this data to the Etiometry Risk Analytics Algorithms for analysis and to the Etiometry Quality Improvement System for retrieval for retrospective analysis. All incoming messages from clinical devices are stored in a vendor-neutral format based on modality. This makes it easy to output data in standard formats—including HL7. IHE, XML and JSON—to increase the interoperability of ICU data.

Instead of merely passing device data to a single source, you can now store that data and route it as you see fit. For the first time, you can keep this valuable resource and make it available to multiple systems. Data can be output automatically or retrieved on-demand through an API.
